Greater Iowa Credit Union donates to Ames art exhibition

The Greater Iowa Credit Union of Ames, Iowa presented $500 to The Octagon Center for the Arts for sponsorship of the Annual Clay, Fiber, Paper, Glass, Metal and Wood Exhibition. The exhibition opened January 25 and runs until April 7 in the center’s main gallery. The funding was approved by Greater Iowa’s Corporate Giving and Educational Partnership Committee, the philanthropic arm of the credit union.

“The committee understands the importance of the arts in the enhancement of a community’s quality of life and knows that the Octagon Center for the Arts is at the forefront of creating a vibrant environment for the advancement of the arts in Ames and beyond.” said Michael Adams, vice president of market and public relations at Greater Iowa.
