Greater Iowa Web site receives national awards

Greater Iowa Credit Union has received two awards for the design and content of its Web site.
 
Greater Iowa Credit Union received the WebAwards Standard of Excellence in the credit union category. and a W3 award in the banking/bill pay category. The awards were received by Global Reach, the Ames-based Web development firm that partnered with Greater Iowa to create a new site in 2011.
 
“The awards are a wonderful endorsement of our site,” said Michael Adams, vice president of marketing and public relations, who oversaw the development of the site from the Greater Iowa side. “I had an incredible team working on content and navigation issues, and I want to particularly acknowledge the work of Rebecca Anderson, Scott Kroeger, Lynn Carr and Peggy Wurster for their contributions.”
 
The Web Marketing Association presents the WebAward to websites with outstanding achievement in website development. The W³ Awards honors creative excellence on the web, and recognizes the creative and marketing professionals behind award winning websites.
