ProjectFuture: The Roxann Harmon Memorial Scholarship

2015 Winners:
- Dan Moeller from Indianola, attending Marquette University
- Mica Magtoto from Ames, attending Iowa State University
- Taylor Suntken from Ames, attending Des Moines Area Community College

Greater Iowa will award three $1,000 scholarships, one each  to a Greater Iowa Credit Union member or immediate family member, to be used at a full-time accredited or not-for-profit two or four-year academic college or university. Students attending an Iowa school receive special consideration.

The Warren Morrow Latino Educational Scholarship

Each year Greater Iowa awards three $500 scholarships to high school Latino students from a first or second-generation Latino family that lives within the Greater Iowa field of membership. Criteria include demonstrating a strong record of community involvement, academic excellence and completion of a 250-to-500-word essay on how the student plans to use his or her education to better his or her community. The scholarship is awarded each September at the Latino Heritage Festival in Des Moines.

Greater Iowa Educators Grants

Greater Iowa Educators Grants are available to elementary, middle and high school teachers teaching in a branch community who wish to pursue specialized training in the field of financial literacy. Grants up to $250 are available.
