Indianola, IA- While Greater Iowa's Indianola branch has been open for business since February, the official opening celebrations commenced the second week of April. On Friday April 11, the Indianola Chamber of Commerce hosted a ribbon cutting for Greater Iowa's newest branch in Indianola. The following day, Saturday April 12, Greater Iowa hosted an official grand opening celebration and invited the entire Indianola community to attend. Each guest received a giveaway bag at the door and free food from Bad to the Bone BBQ. Caricature artists were on hand to keep the kids entertained, and there were prize drawings for Iowa Wild tickets, National Balloon Classic tickets and $50 Visa gift cards. One of the most exciting events of the day was the live radio remote by Nash FM who drew for a pair of George Strait tickets at the very end of the open house. Over 300 people were in attendance.
