Tebbe joins Innovation initiative

    Ames, Iowa - March 26, 2013

Jennifer Tebbe, e-services branch manager at Greater Iowa Credit Union, is one of 15 credit union leaders selected to participate in the Iowa Credit Union League’s (ICUL) inaugural Iowa Innovation Group (IIG) program. The program was established to foster the development of new ideas and innovations for the credit union industry. Each participant will serve a seven-month term, participate in periodic meetings led by a team from ICUL and Filene Research Institute and be responsible for piloting new ideas at their credit union.

"On behalf of the Iowa Credit Union League, I would like to congratulate Jennifer Tebbe on being selected to participate in ICUL’s Innovation Group,” said Jim Niederhauser, ICUL V.P. of Member Services. “We appreciate Jennifer's passion to move the credit union industry forward and provide additional member value.”

Jennifer has been a member of the Greater Iowa team for nearly two years and has served a variety of roles. She has played a major part in the implementation of our state-of-the-art online banking product. Jennifer’s aspirations for the credit union movement have lead her into being accepted to attend the Iowa Credit Union League Convention as well as the Governmental Affairs Conference both as a Crasher, one who is innovative and driven.

“It’s an honor to be chosen to participate in this program, and I look forward to collaborating with other Iowa credit union leaders to identify new ways to improve how credit unions provide financial guidance to our members and communities,” said Tebbe.
