SBA Paycheck Protection Program

Thank you for your patience as we evaluated the requirements and developed processes to handle your SBA Paycheck Protection Program requests. 

We are now accepting applications from GICU members that have their primary business accounts with GICU. If your primary business checking account is not with GICU, please contact your primary business financial institution. 

GICU will review your application, along with other SBA required documentation, for program eligibility and qualified loan amount. We will then register your loan and dollar amount with the SBA to reserve your funds. 

Closing and funding of loans will begin after the SBA releases the required loan documents necessary. The SBA has not yet indicated when those documents will be available.

To start the application process, please send an email request to SBA-PPP@gicu.org. You will then receive a secure email from GICU confirming receipt of your loan request that will include the most up-to-date SBA PPP Loan Application, as well as a list of required documents. Please check your “Junk” email folder regularly as secure emails sometimes end up in this folder. If you do not receive a secure email from GICU within 2 business days of notifying us of your desire to apply, please contact us at 800.296.9064.
